400 new jobs to be created at Applegreen’s new sites in Denver, Colorado
Applegreen will open the first of four new service area sites in Colorado later this year as part of a $70 million investment in the state.
Applegreen will create 400 jobs at the new service areas, which will be located along the E-470 highway in Denver, Colorado. Each service area will include three branded food and beverage outlets, a convenience store, fuel and EV charging facilities, all of which will be operated by Applegreen.
Applegreen’s US investment to date
Applegreen has invested more than €1 billion in the United States since it bought its first two sites in New York’s Long Island in 2014. It is currently one of the largest Irish employers in the US, with more than 7,000 employees across its operations. Applegreen is the largest highway service area operator in the United States with over 110 highway service areas in the United States.
